Procurement and Commissioning of Equipment and IT

Challenge

To ensure a smooth and timely go-live of their greenfield terminal, HHLA PLT contracted HPC to provide consultancy services and support in two areas: Procurement assistance focussing on cargo handling equipment, business processes and IT solutions for cargo handling and port operations (Terminal Operating System).

Tasks Performed

• Tender assistance, contracting, commissioning, acceptance tests
• Planning for other technical assets, workshop planning
• Refined IT strategy
• Specified business processes & requirements for a TOS
• Supported in implementing operational IT solutions and establishing the IT infrastructure
• Management assistance in the implementation of other IT solutions for port and facility security, access control and maintenance
