Tender for a Multipurpose Terminal Operating System (TOS) for AET Antwerp

Challenge

The AET facility is located in the Port of Antwerp and handles general and project cargo, vehicles and containers. Given growing technical requirements and business needs, AET's management assigned HPC to analyse business processes in order to derive a complete set of functional, interface and technical requirements for their new terminal operating system (TOS) and to launch the tender process.

Tasks Performed

• Analysis, design and modelling (BPMN 2.0) of future business processes
• Specification of functional requirements for the TOS
• Running of a two-stage tendering process (RfI/RfP)
• Evaluation of submitted proposals, including clarification meetings
• Preparation of a supplier recommendation

Benefit

Upon completion of the analysis, HPC assisted AET with evaluating proposals, selecting the TOS supplier, contract management, and setting up the TOS implementation project organisation.
