The Client intended to develop an additional, state-of-the-art container terminal at Bangkok Port, increasing overall handling capacity and stimulating the downstream logistics and warehousing activities near the port.

  • Determined road traffic scenarios outside the terminal boundaries
  • Traffic simulation for road network setups enabling smooth traffic flow; coordinated conceptual technology and simulation outcomes with civil engineering to provide project lifecycle cost overview


HPC’s traffic simulation assessed traffic impacts outside the port pointing towards necessary changes to the road network layout to ensure improved traffic flow despite capacity increase.
