
Tbilisi Logistics Center Feasibility Study
Challenge
Asian Development Bank (ADB) supported the Government of Georgia in conducting a feasibility study for developing an integrated logistics center in Tbilisi, designed as a Public-Private Partnership initiative to facilitate private investment. ADB selected HPC as the technical and commercial consultant.
Tasks Performed
- Review product distribution in Eastern Georgia and analyse transport costs
- Forecast demand for consumer goods in Georgia
- Assess the selected site’s technical and logistics aspects
- Define facility requirements and development phases
- Recommend public-private financial arrangements
- Evaluate the facility's overall impact
