         llowing the customer to start discussing, evaluating and implementing the fi

         ion of the initial virtual results of the study through detailed inspections
          and meetings with the involved personnel, delivery of the Final Report</li>

The Challenge

The Client contracted HPC to carry out a comprehensive audit of their terminal, mainly handling bulk materials including copper concentrate and sulfuric acid. The project aimed to improve the terminal’s operational efficiency and productivity as well as the contractual relationship between the client and the subcontractor responsible for operations and maintenance.

Tasks Performed

  • Phase 1: Virtual project phase carried out remotely, delivery of the Initial Virtual Report, allowing the customer to start discussing, evaluating and implementing the first recommended measures
  • Phase 2: On-site survey in Chile, validation of the initial virtual results of the study through detailed inspections and meetings with the involved personnel, delivery of the Final Report

Benefit

HPC identified quick wins, and medium/long-term measures to be implemented by the terminal's management to ensure continuity of their operations efficiently and safely for the next 25 years.
