N4 Upgrade at Kingston Freeport Terminal

The Challenge

Kingston Freeport Terminal Limited is the major private Container Terminal Operator in Jamaica. "KFTL" currently processes approximately 1.6 million TEUs (Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units) annually and is part of the French CMA CGM Group.

The company wished to embark on a significant upgrade to its Navis N4 Terminal Operating System (TOS), expecting to improve and enhance business operations.

The upgrade should also achieve greater stability and enable the utilisation of other modules.

Tasks Performed

• As an external Project Manager (PM), HPC has represented KFTL in this project.
• The PM took responsibility for creating the project plan and schedule in coordination with the project sponsor and the TOS supplier's PM and managed the project's execution in conjunction with KFTL's Operations and IT teams.
