Governance and Roadmap to Develop Port Communities in Brazil

Challenge

One of the steps toward increasing export-driven inclusive economic growth in Brazil was to build a Port Community System (PCS) for the Brazilian ports. HPC was subcontracted to design the governance model leading to the creation of an effective and cohesive PCS, engaging national authorities and relevant stakeholders of Santos, Itajaí, Suape & Rio de Janeiro ports.

Benefit

HPC raised awareness and solid understanding of the key components of a governance model for a PCS, based on specific international use cases.
