Construction Supervision for STS and RTG Cranes for CHCL Mauritius

Challenge

CHCL acquired one Post-Panamax STS gantry crane and two rubber-tyred gantry cranes from manufacturer HHMC in China. The cranes were a re-build of recently purchased STS and RTG cranes which entered into service at CHCL’s container terminal in Port Louis in 2017. CHCL appointed HPC to carry out design review services for improvement works required and stage supervision at the manufacturer’s premises in Qingdao, China, during final testing and hand-over in Mauritius, and during the two-year warranty period of the cranes.

Benefit
