With effect from September 1, 2020, responsibilities at HPC will change.

Dr Jennifer Sommer, Associate Partner at HPC, takes over the management of the IT Consulting division. The mathematician has been on board since 2012 and has since then been responsible for the successful implementation of numerous projects worldwide in the fields of IT strategy and digitalisation both as supervisor and as project manager.

Sven Daniels, long-standing Partner at HPC, will exclusively take over as head of the Software Engineering division and will drive forward the development of software solutions and their integration into the given IT landscapes for the terminal and port industry.

Pablo Bowen, Senior Strategy Consultant at HPC since 2019 and former Chief Information Officer with more than 30 years of working experience, will be responsible for the Governments, Communities, Ports market segment together with Dennis Kögeböhn. Bowen is an internationally recognized IT strategist who has been very successful in various positions in the logistics, shipping, and port sectors around the globe.

Lars Greiner, Senior Consultant at HPC, will be responsible for the Bulk Terminals market segment. Since January 2020, he has been working for HPC in various projects. Prior to that, he gained comprehensive expertise, especially in the field of non-containerized shipping, in various positions for renowned shipping companies as well as logistics planning for large and mega projects in engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) companies.

"With the new leadership team, we have put together a very experienced, innovation-driven and internationally powerful team which, together with our clients, will drive forward the future viability of the port, terminal and logistics sector".

The change in responsibilities is due to the leaving of Dr Alexis Pangalos and Dr Stefan Wiech on August 31, 2020. Both partners have rendered outstanding services to the development of the company over many years and are now taking on new challenges.
