What We Do

At HPC, everything is about global port and logistics consulting at the highest level. Our team not only supports port projects, from planning an investment to creating port master plans and decarbonising the industry but also helps shape the sustainable operations of cargo handling facilities and hinterland transportation - physically and digitally.

We work with renowned clients from port authorities, transport ministries, terminal operators and logistics providers. The multifaceted nature of our clients' concerns spurs us to use our broad expertise to offer custom-fit consulting services and develop innovative solutions.

Where We Come From

We are proud of our roots and the impressive journey we have made since our foundation in 1976. As a subsidiary of Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA), we were formed with the aim of optimizing terminal operations worldwide and helping to bring innovation to the port industry. 

Our consultants are at the heart of our success. With diverse backgrounds as terminal developers, equipment engineers, economists, data analysts, data scientists, mathematicians, simulation experts, IT consultants, software engineers and project managers, they bring a wide range of skills to the table. People from almost 20 different countries work for us. This diversity of content and culture enables us to offer consulting services that understand and drive the dynamics of the modern port and logistics industry.

01 Show us your interest

02 Let's talk

We want to get to know you. We want to better understand how you like to work, what inspires you, and how you want to contribute. Where do you want to develop? We would like to get a vivid impression of who you are. On the other hand, you will get a first impression of our organization in the one-hour interview with our People Managers.

03 Allow us to dig a little deeper

In order to provide you with the best possible support, we need to understand your current situation. Therefore, in the next step we would like to take a closer look at the processes using a testing software. When you are invited to the Assessment Center, you will receive a link to a personality and cognitive test. However, the test results are only one component of our holistic assessment.
